Dr. Klobocista’s preferred treatment approach is surgery. Dr. Klobocista is currently a member of RCCA at the John Theurer Cancer Center. and has authored multiple publications on the subject. Her research and the high-quality service she provides have earned her multiple awards, including New Jersey Top Doctor and Bergen County Top Doctor honors.
She also maintains her membership with the Society of Gynecologic Oncology. This organization is dedicated to improving patient outcomes for gynecologic cancers. Dr. Klobocista became a doctor because she believed it was her calling. She wanted to help people, especially other women, and saw medicine as the best way to do so. This passion led her to train in gynecology and oncology.
After completing her fellowship at the University of Southern California, Dr. Klobocista returned to her native northeast. She joined the teaching staff at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, where she was actively involved in teaching and training medical students, residents and fellows. She also established a robust practice in which she developed an interest in rare uterine tumors.
Dr. Klobocista spent five years as an Assistant Professor before joining the RCCA team.. She routinely contributes to research in gynecologic malignancies and has authored multiple publications on the subject. She also maintains a surgical practice that provides both traditional open surgery and minimally invasive surgery, using advanced robotic capabilities to maximize success.
When treating patients, Dr. Klobocista treats them as she would treat her own family members. She delivers the highest level of care and makes an extra effort to establish relationships.
