Dr. Biran, who practices in New Jersey in Hackensack, is actively involved with clinical research focusing on multiple myeloma. She has presented a range of clinical work at international and national conferences such as those of the American Society of Hematology and the Society of Hematologic Oncology. She is widely published in hematology and oncology journals such as American Journal of Hematology, Current Hematologic Malignancy Reports and The Hemophilia Report, with a research focus on high-risk multiple myeloma and the role of minimal residual disease in multiple myeloma. She also has co-authored a chapter in “Essentials of Hospital Medicine: A Practical Guide for Clinicians,” entitled “Oncologic Emergencies.” As a fellow at Icahn School of Medicine, Dr. Biran participated in numerous lecture series and training sessions for medical students, residents and nurse practitioners.
