Like many other nurse practitioners at RCCA, Nora works with all types of cancer. She treats a combination of malignant blood disorders, in addition to solid tumors, such as breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, and colon cancer.
Nora’s role in the RCCA team is in patient management. She is present at every stage of a patient’s treatment and recovery journey, providing emotional support and medical guidance. She educates patients and their families about their diagnosis, treatment options, and expected outcomes, helping them feel confident about the future. Nora also performs infusion therapy services, including chemotherapy.

H2: About Nora Hogan
“Nursing was a natural fit,” says Nora Hogan, explaining why she joined the healthcare field. As a mother, Nora is a natural caretaker with a desire to help people in need. Nursing gives her an opportunity to carry this passion into her workplace. As for oncology, she says, “It is my calling.”
Quality of life is Nora’s primary goal as a nurse practitioner. This starts with telling patients what to expect from cancer treatment. She informs them of the guidelines, reassures them that their care will be aligned with their choices and goals, and helps them understand their expected outcomes. She also provides guidance and emotional support whenever necessary. “I treat my patients as family,” Nora adds. “I guide them through every step of the journey.”
To patients and families facing a new diagnosis, Nora says, “Keep making memories and make today better.” Positive experiences help patients feel hopeful through a vulnerable time in their lives, and they give them something nice to look back on afterward.
She also urges patients to remember that there is hope. “There are so many recent advances in cancer care,” she says. Targeted therapy and immunotherapy are achieving results that were previously thought to be impossible. Chemotherapy is becoming less toxic, letting patients keep a higher quality of life during treatment.
Nora Hogan serves patients at 211 North Main Street, Cape May Courthouse, NJ 08210. This location is a community-based center that brings high-quality cancer services close to New Jersey residents’ homes.
