John C. Baumann, M.D.

Dr. Baumann came to Regional Cancer Care Associates from Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C. There, he served as Chief of Radiation Oncology, as well as the Associate Program Director of the resident training program for radiation oncology at the National Cancer Institute.

In the past, Dr. Baumann also served on Gynecologic Oncology Group’s radiotherapy committee. In addition, he was a member of the Radiological Advisory Medical Team of the United States Department of Defense. Other career highlights include the University Medical Center at Princeton University, where he was named Consultant to the Surgeon General for radiation oncology and served as the President of the Medical Staff.

His career path began at Princeton University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He then completed his medical degree at Harvard University Medical School, where he also completed his residency, chief residency and fellowship in radiation oncology.

Well-respected by his peers, Dr. Baumann has been selected one of the “Best Doctors” in the tri-state area for many years. He has also published numerous pieces in medical literature and has experience lecturing internationally.
