Edward M. Soffen, M.D.

With a history of notable achievements, including recognition by his peers as a “Top Doctor” in New Jersey for 15 years and counting, Dr. Soffen has also been named one of the “Best Doctors in America.” He has authored countless publications about oncology, solidifying his reputation throughout the field.

Aside from his role at Regional Cancer Care Associates, Dr. Soffen is busy educating the next generation of oncologists. He serves as a faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania, Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia and Rutgers University Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Dr. Soffen began his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, graduating with Phi Beta Kappa honors for his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. He then attended the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia to complete his medical degree. There, he was accepted to the Alpha Omega Alpha Society for his academic achievements.

Dr. Soffen’s residency took place at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he focused on radiation oncology within the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
