Holly to new space within the Virtua Samson Cancer Center in Moorestown.\n\u201cWhen Virtua announced plans to develop their dedicated cancer center in Moorestown, a 48,000-square-foot facility that opened in 2018, they invited us to be the medical oncology tenants onsite,\u201d shared RCCA oncologist Seth Berk, MD, of RCCA Mt. Holly, an over 50-year-old practice that rented space within Virtua Memorial Hospital for the past 25 years and joined the RCCA family in 2012. \u201cWe have a very close relationship with Virtua that\u2019s been built over 50 years, with many of our physicians playing key leadership roles at Virtua, and we were honored to be asked to provide medical oncology services there.\u201d\nAt RCCA \u2014 one of the nation\u2019s largest networks of oncology specialists, with more than 130 physicians and hundreds of other healthcare professionals practicing at 31 locations throughout New Jersey, Maryland, and Connecticut \u2013 \u201cpatients have always had access to the most highly trained physicians providing cutting-edge care and opportunities to participate in leading research and clinical trials,\u201d Dr. Berk shared.  \u201cNow, within the new center in Moorestown, patients will have access to all of our services as well as to radiation oncology, cancer genetics, infusion services and chemo management system, social work specialists, and nurse navigation services all under one roof.\u201d  In addition, he said, \u201cmany of the surgeons are located in a Virtua facility right across the street, which will further enhance convenience and enable easier referrals to different services for patients.\u201dRCCA\u2019s new Moorestown location also represents a convenient, close-to-home alternative, which avoids the need for South Jersey residents to travel into Philadelphia for their cancer care.\nIn addition to its presence within the state-of-the-art new facility and provision of leading-edge, individualized, and highly compassionate care for cancer and blood disorders, \u201cRCCA is a major supporter of\/donor to the RCCA hair boutique in the Virtua Samson Cancer Center, which offers specialized hair services (furnished by Rizzieri Salon) free of charge to patients undergoing chemotherapy,\u201d Dr. Berk said.\nLocated just 7 miles from its former site in Mt. Holly, \u201cour newer physical plant is within a more contemporary setting.The medical oncology team at RCCA often assists patients by helping to direct and guide them through the services they require as the \u201cconductor of the show\u201d through a stressful time.\nAs they prepare to open their doors on their new location, Dr. Berk and the RCCA team are excited about the move and the promise it holds for existing patients and members of the surrounding community who are addressing a cancer diagnosis. \u201cOur RCCA practice is proud to be viewed as a proactive community and hospital partner,\u201d Dr. Berk said.  \u201cWe hope to continue differentiating ourselves as a convenient center for excellent care that stresses compassion and offers a family atmosphere where our patients\u2019 needs always come first.\u201d\nEffective Nov. 4, RCCA Moorestown (formerly RCCA Mt.
