Insurance Accounts Receivable – Headquarters- Hackensack, NJ

Currently, we are seeking a Patient Accounts Receivable Specialist. Responsibilities include customer service, incoming patient calls regarding statements/patient liability and patient AR follow-up for RCCA practice divisions centralizing their billing operations. Detail-oriented and organized individual must excel at quickly learning new computer systems, problem-solving, setting up payment plans and any patient assistance that may be available. A good candidate will have customer service, patient collections and payment posting experience in Centricity practice management. Effective communication across all levels of the organization is important, especially division-level financial counseling representative(s).


Education: HS Graduate or GED required, Formal Medical Billing education helpful but not required.

Medical billing background (at least 2 years related experience). Experience in claims processing, payment posting, and AR follow-up. Coding experience helpful.

Special Skills:
Ability to multitask and follow through skills are a must. Centricity practice management software and Oncology billing experience are preferred.
