Dr. Bruno S. Fang is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. For more than 12 years he has been treating patients in the central New Jersey community.
Dr. Fang received his medical degree from the University of São Paulo School of Medicine in Brazil. He completed his residency in internal medicine, serving as Chief Resident at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Jackson Memorial Hospital. He was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Medical Honor Society, at the University of Miami. Dr. Fang completed fellowship training in oncology at the National Cancer Institute and hematology at the National Heart, Blood, and Lung Institute, both at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.
Dr. Fang is currently on the teaching faculty at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He is a member of the Lung Cancer Study Group at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, the Saint Peter’s University Hospital Cancer Committee, American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, and Medical Society of New Jersey. Dr. Fang has been included numerous times in lists of the "Top Doctors" in hematology and oncology by Inside Jersey and New Jersey Monthly magazines, U.S. News & World Report, and Castle Connolly "Top Doctors" in the New York Metro Area. He is fluent in the English, Portuguese, and Spanish languages.
